Brandon

My name is Brandon Thayer and I am from Lindenhurst, IL. It is a small suburb of Chicago, directly to the north. I have one brother, named Chris, he is one year older than me. Chris attends Bradley University, which is in Peoria, IL. He is studying to become a Civil Engineer. My father lives in Seattle, Washington, while I live with my mother in Chicago. I lived with my mother for my entire life, therefore I am a Chicago sports fan. My two favorite professional sports teams are; the Chicago Bulls and the Chicago Bears. I am a big fan of  playing any sport and usually do not turn down a good opportunity to play. I also like to snowboard, watch movies, and spend time with my friends. I was essentially raised by my grandmother. When I was young, my mother worked during the day and had night school as well, so my grandmother was always there for me and is a very important part of my life. I was also lucky enough to be coming to Purdue with my girlfriend from high school, her name is Rachael Ferguson, if you have a class with her say hi, she is very nice. We have been dating for almost three years so I feel like she deserves to be in here because she is such an important piece of my life and has supported me through many things.
