Fall Break

For fall break, I am going back home for the first time since I first got here. I have so much to do in so little time. I have to go see all of my friends and family. I cannot wait to see everyone and talk to them about Purdue. It has been so long since I have seen them. But what I did not expect is how much I missed my pets; I missed my animals almost more than my friends and family. Not really, but it was strange to come home after being gone for so long. My weekend is completely packed, and I still have to have to find time to get to the doctor and get stuff for my dorm. My brother came home the weekend before me to visit everyone. If I had not known that before I would have when I got home. He left a gigantic mess, it is unbelievable how messy one person can be, he is like a tornado.

  1. You are definitely right about this. I know what you mean as far as packing everything in. I have constantly being going and going over the past few days and my family never fails to take the time wake me up at like 8 or 9 in the morning, which is early when I am hoping to sleep in. I met so many family members this weekend and I don't know how many times I answered the question "How's college?" I don't mind answering the question. The sad thing is my dog does not really recognize. I mean he does, but it is not super, extreme excitement like it is when my dog sees other people. So thats sad, but he is a funny dog and sort of a goofball. Is your brother in college too? I have to admit I come back and my siblings still do annoy (haha), some things never change!

  2. hahah! this reminds me of my brother lol. He's even worst. This is really great that you had this opportunity you visit home. I'm sure it would have been so much fun, except the messy part of your room. :p
I miss my family and friends. I'll too meet them soon. During this break I went to Chicago and did loads of shopping. I too went to walmart to get some stuff. I enjoyed my holidays to the fullest and hopefully will have a great week this time with a refreshed mind. :)

  3. I wish I could have gone back home for the weekend. It's true that there was no line at the dining courts, and me and my friends had campus mostly to ourselves, but in truth I missed my family and friends a lot over those four days. Regardless of the fact that I really enjoyed fall break, met a lot of new people and generally had a great time, I still feel like I could have enjoyed it more if I could have gone back home and spent time with my family and friends. That's what sucks about living so far away from home - you have very little opportunities to be with your family. That's why I simply can't wait for Thanskgiving break to get here - that's when I fly back to New Jersey!
