It is almost the middle of November; I cannot believe classes have been going for so long already. It feels like last week that we all got here as freshman having no clue what’s going on or where to go. I do not know what you guys think about this but my time here has flown by I wish that my first semester did not go by so fast. When I was in high school weeks would just tick by like months and months took forever to end. Now here at Purdue it’s been months and has felt like weeks. Although that is a good thing I think. It seems like that is a sign that I am enjoying this much more than high school. I can’t wait for Christmas but I don’t want to leave yet, I’m just getting settled. If spring semester goes by this fast I’m going to have to stop sleeping so that I have more time to do all of the things that I want.
Yea I completely agree. It seemed like in high school I would just count down the days and hours until the weekend. The weekdays would take forever, and the weekends would be too short. Now that I’m in college, I almost completely forget when it is a weekday and when it is a weekend because my routine barely changes between the two. This first semester has been going by ridiculously fast. We are only 3 class weeks away from the end of the semester!
ReplyDeleteOne thing I am excited about is going home over Thanksgiving Break. I haven’t been home since August, and am really feeling homesick. It will be nice to head back and relax for a bit with my family. Plus I will be able to play my brother’s copy of Skyrim . If spring semester went by this fast it wouldn’t be too bad, because then summer would be here sooner!

I agree that the semester seems to have gone by so fast. Some of this is because of all of the homework and projects that we are always doing, and I think a lot of the other reason is because of band. I really love it but it takes up a lot of time and makes my week seem to go by faster, which definitely isn't a bad thing at all. This is actually very similar to high school for me, just with an increased amount of homework, because I was involved in a lot of activities in high school, so my semesters flew by, especially fall semester.

Agreed, bro. I almost want to take a lighter course load so that I have time to do/participate in all of the clubs/things that I'm interested in on/around campus, but I think that it's for the best to keep a course load that pushes us, and keeps us on our toes.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you. There are only about 4 weeks left till the end of the semester and I keep wondering where all the time went! It's amazing how fast the weeks go by here. I definitely planned on participating in more events/clubs than I have. Although I probably will not take a lighter course load next semester, I'll try to sleep less so that I can do all the things that I want to!
